Parent Coaching

Gender/Identity Embodiment

  • For individual & partnered adults with any age children
  • Typical sessions are around 45-55 minutes
  • For partners and families
  • Typical sessions are 60 minutes long
  • Intensive sessions are around 90-120 minutes

Parent Coaching

At Self Made Psychology, we offer both skills-based and IFS-informed parenting coaching that helps you understand your own emotional responses, build deeper connections with your child, and parent from a place of presence instead of reactivity. 

Our approach supports your goals by helping you grow stronger, more connected relationships with your children, while limiting shame, reactivity, or burnout. 

By helping you explore how the different parts of you show up in parenting – like your anxieties, your perfectionism, and more – and encouraging compassionate acceptance over criticism, we are able to support you in parenting from your most present, centered, and conscious self. 

Parenting is hard work — especially when you’re trying to do it differently than how you were parented.
